| On Thursday, April 30th 2009, Pres. Obama completed his first 100 Days in the Oval Office. Democrats Abroad Norway marked the occasion with a celebration at a restaurant called Dolly Dimples in Oslo. All members of Democrats Abroad Norway were invited to attend a fixed price, “all you can eat” pizza deal.
The meeting was attended by approximately 60 members and their guests. The venue was festively decorated with balloons from The Balloon Company.

| Lisa Cooper, Chairman of Democrats Abroad, started the meeting with a presentation about the organization of Democrats Abroad Norway and its role in the overall structure of the Democratic Party.

Lisa also presented a CNN video clip with highlights of Obama’s speech and followed up with a summary of the most noteworthy events during Obama’s first 100 days. |

| Next, a special guest speaker named Erik Solheim shared his humorous experiences as a volunteer working in several different cities (Minneapolis, Chicago, Columbus, and Miami) for the Obama presidential campaign. Mr Solheim is a cultural journalist and author of “En Stemme for Obama”, the only book about the Obama-campaign written by a Norwegian. The book is an inside story of campaign life.

The third speaker, Board Member Barbara Ødegaard, enriched the evening with stories about her own experiences as an Obama volunteer at the Convention and Presidential Inauguration. Ms. Ødegaard explained how she got involved as a volunteer and inspired her audience to assume responsibility for volunteering when called upon.
