Your personal tool box for getting the inside scoop on what’s happening in Washington and around the US.

As a start, try the National Journal – one of the most trusted sources of political news in Washington. National Journal’s NEED TO KNOW memo comes out every weekday at around 1330 Norwegian time (0730 EST) – and includes the ten hottest topics of the day. Each topic is covered in one SmartPhone sized screen.

It’s the perfect starting point for cocktail party conversation, impressing your friends and irritating your “enemies”. And more importantly, giving you the background you’ll need for informed decisions on the upcoming 2012 Elections.

The descriptions of the various sources come from Wikipedia.
